Baofeng Lake Transport Guide

Baofeng Lake lies within the Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area, one of the core sites of the Wulingyuan World Natural Heritage and World Geopark. Search "Baofeng Lake Scenic Area or "Zhangjiajie Baofeng Lake" in a map app for precise navigation.

Route:From downtown Zhangjiajie, take the Changzhang Expressway / Zhangqing Road toward Wulingyuan; the total distance is about 35–40 km, a drive of roughly 50 minutes to 1 hour.

Navigation:Search "Baofeng Lake Scenic Area" in Baidu Maps, Amap, or Tencent Maps and follow the directions.

Parking:The park has a parking lot; traffic is heavy in peak season (Mar–Nov), so travel off-peak or arrive early.

At Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station, take a shuttle toward Wulingyuan; on arrival at Wulingyuan towntransfer to a taxi or ride-hailing car and reach the park in about 10 minutes. Schedules are subject to the day's departures.

Zhangjiajie West Station (high-speed rail):take a taxi or ride-hailing car toward Wulingyuan, about 1 hour by road.

Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport:about 40–50 km from the park, roughly 1 hour by car; take a taxi or ride-hailing car straight to the park.

From downtown Zhangjiajie, the railway station, or the airport, you can reach the park by taxi or a ride-hailing app — handy for families or groups. Confirm with the driver that the destination is "Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, Wulingyuan" to avoid the wrong entrance.
