Online booking is via the WeChat Mini Program. Scan the page's QR code on WeChat, choose a ticket type and visit date, enter visitor details, and pay; the system syncs within about 30–60 minutes, after which you enter by scanning your original ID.

The visitor's real name and valid resident ID number are required. Real-name ticketing applies; booking details must match the ID used at entry.

Yes. One order can cover multiple visitors — just fill in each person's real name and ID number; each visitor must verify with their own ID at entry.

Seniors 65+ and children 1.2 m and below can get free entry at the ticket window with valid documents. Seniors 60–64 can book a discounted senior ticket. Age and height are verified on site at entry.

The student ticket is for students aged 14–17; present your valid original student ID for verification at entry. For the university student ticket, bring a valid student ID to the ticket window.

Each season has its own scenery. Autumn (Sep–Nov) has clear skies and is the best of the year; summer (Jun–Aug) offers cool boating; spring (Mar–May) brings profuse flowers; winter is quiet. See the "Travel Guide" page for details.

Baofeng Lake is in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie, about 35 km from downtown Zhangjiajie and 2 km from Wulingyuan town; transport is convenient.
